Product Description
These Front Caster Arm Assemblies from SuperPro provide a performance suspension option for your G8 by replacing the soft original fluid filled bushings and OE ball joints. When the original bushings or ball joints wear out your G8 can exhibit steering wander and sluggish cornering, but with these arms you can enjoy straight line tracking at high speeds and increased maneuverability when turning.
The OE ball joints and bushings on the front caster arm of the 08-09 G8 provide a nice soft ride but are lacking when it comes to performance. The rubber bushings are actually filled with fluid to aid in absorption but this makes them much less durable and allows the caster angle of your front wheels to change. As they wear down you might notice some steering wander at high speeds or less responsive steering as the vertical pivot line of the front wheels tilts forward.
If you want to upgrade the turning response and high-speed stability of your G8 then these front caster arm assemblies will give you a noticeable bump in performance. The polyurethane front caster arm bushings will hold the arms in place without changing shape like the original bushings but are made at a specific hardness that will still afford a level of comfort while dramatically increasing performance.
This assembly also includes heavy duty ball joints that will outlast the originals.
